Description
F80SG-B aluminum curtain wall system is a unique 4 sides SSG factory glazed stick system ideal for complex and/or high spec projects. F80SG-B is designed and tested to provide high levels of blast protection with premium performance and aesthetics. The glass units are factory bonded to carrier frames and field installed into the stick curtain wall system. All security components are concealed within the prefinished and thermally broken curtain wall system. This unique blend of security and aesthetics combined with key sustainable attributes makes this product an excellent choice for both Commercial and Institutional projects that require attention to detail and performance without compromising costs.
F80B curtain wall is a high performance, pressure equalized aluminum system available in standard overall system depths of 8 ½” , 10” and 12 ½”. (215mm,254mm and 318mm). Stick curtain wall can be shipped to the job site KD or in preassembled ladders. Glass units are factory bonded to carrier frames. These carrier frames are field glazed into the pre-installed stick curtain wall back member system. Each carrier frame is mechanically fastened into curtain wall DLO’s to offer a 4 sides butt glazed appearance. The field applied weather seal between the glass units can be as narrow as 1/2” (12mm) on all 4 sides.
