Description

The model MW-4 Surface Mounted “Mini” Plate Barrier is engineered to meet U S Marshall Service impact rating of a 5,000 pound vehicle travelling at 30 MPH. The MW-4 is designed for surface mounting applications and has been specifically developed to be mounted on an existing concrete driveway. The MW-4 is operated with a self contained power source, complete with a hydraulic pumping unit that includes a universal programmable logic controller (PLC) and is available with emergency fast operation (EFO) as an option. Designed with innovative cutting edge technology the MW-4 provides the highest level of security for a surface mounted barrier and ensures a fast economical installation, smooth operation, and easy maintenance.

Controlling the MW-4 is a self-contained power source complete with a dual hydraulic pumping system (HPU). Designed for long life and reliability, and easy access and maintenance, the MW-4 provides a universal program (PLC) allowing for multiple outputs to operate various devices such as, traffic lights, card readers, and gate arms.
