American Physical Security Group, leaders in design and manufacture of state-of-the-art security glazing products introduces the SW1200 steel reinforced aluminum profile window. manufactured to meet AAMA certification standards, the SW1200 is designed to resist extreme forced entry, ballistic and blast conditions without compromise to aesthetics and environmental performance. This is achieved by retaining all security components within pre-finished and thermally broken aluminum profiles. This unique blend of security and aesthetics combined with key sustainable attributes makes this product ideally suited for security sensitive projects both in Government, Military and Commercial applications.
Historically, FEBR systems have been manufactured as steel framing clad in aluminum. This form of construction leads to aesthetic and maintenance issues. The SW1200 is a departure from the traditional design in that all steel reinforcement is encased within thermally broken aluminum profiles. This not only ensures a superior finished look to the product but also provides thermal performance comparable with normal aluminum framed window and curtain wall systems. SW1200 Window Series is a fixed Forced Entry, Ballistic and Blast window available in single bay punched openings or multiple bay arrangements with intermediate verticals and/or horizontals.
